There are three levels of subscription to the DanIDL library. The first is a Single User Subscription, which covers any single user/researcher/developer whose code is for personal use only. Code developed using this subscription may not be freely distributed.

The second level of subscription is a Research Group Subscription, which allows the use of DanIDL for any group of users/researchers/developers of up to 6 people with the same common project/goal. Code developed using this subscription may be freely distributed within a University/Company/Collaboration, but no further.

The third level of subscription is a Full Subscription, which allows the use of DanIDL for any user/researcher/developer within a University/Company/Collaboration. Code developed using this subscription may be freely distributed to any end user.

Please note that a subscription can be upgraded at any time. For instance, if you want to develop some code for personal research that employs routines from DanIDL, and then publish the results, then the Single User Subscription is appropriate. If you later find that the code you develop is useful to the wider community, then you may want to upgrade to a Full Subscription, which will allow you to publish and distribute your code without restriction.

In order to purchase and enjoy a subscription to the DanIDL library, please follow the steps below:

1. Send an email request to dan.bramich "AT" hotmail.co.uk stating the type of subscription you require, your name and whether you would like to be added to the DanIDL email news group. You may also request a specific user name and password in this email.
2. I will send you back an email request for payment of the subscription fee via PayPal.
3. On completion of the subscription fee payment, I will supply a username and password which you may use to access any version of the DanIDL library linked in the menu. If requested, you will receive all news on DanIDL about bug fixes and new releases via the email news group.
